Firefox 2.0 – 2 Million Downloads on the First Day

When Internet Explorer 7 had reached three million downloads in the first four days, the news of the Microsoft browser's performance spread at a global level. In this context Firefox 2.0 deserves a similar treatment since it revealed that it is capable of a comparable if not superior performance. In this context, the impact that Firefox 2.0 is making may as well prove superior to that of Internet Explorer 7.

This is the case as Mozilla revealed that Firefox 2.0 was downloaded over two million times just in the first 24 hours. This is equivalent to an estimated 30 downloads each second.

Well, folks, Vista has heard the sound of inevitability. It’s out! The final version of Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows Vista, was first seen yesterday on several important torrent websites. All users confirmed that the version listed was indeed 6.0.6000, the official RTM Vista version.

First, a temporary solution arose: a short command that gives you the possibility to easily extend the activation period to 60 days. Everybody thought two months would be more than enough for someone to find a better workaround, but they were wrong... One day was enough! Soon after the release of this temporary crack, a much more effective one saw the light of day.

This crack uses files from the RC2 Vista version and enables you to activate Vista using your old RC1/RC2 serial number. If you haven’t already started looking in the Recycle Bin for it, allow me to state that even this crack doesn’t seem to get the job done. After being cracked this way, the pirated version of Windows Vista will run only until the end of June 2007.

If one might have came across the idea that there are people in this world that have too much time to spend, then wait until he sees this website. I am talking about the MSFirefox’s site that is dedicated to the unique union of Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Well, actually, there is a website that describes such a product, but that is nothing more than a very laborious way to play a prank on everyone that is dumb enough to believe it.
I know that anyone in a good state of mind would laugh his/her brains out when hearing such a thing as Microsoft buying Firefox and combining the two browsers, but I already know a bunch of people that really believe such a thing.

That is how I've heard about it in the first place. I found myself stopped on the street by a dork that is trying to explain to me how Microsoft made Firefox better and the final result is MSFirefox, the ultimate browser. Ha ha ha!
